This is the best pedometer that I have owned and yes I have had 4 of them...I reviewed many and am very happy with this purchase!!! It keeps accurate information for review for 7 days and does break down regular to moderate steps taken, miles and time...so if you walk, it keeps an accurate record...if you jog or speed walk, it keeps that accurate under moderate steps...It is not bulky, the clip holds tightly (even when you jog or speed walk) and it is very easy to read the numbers...What an easy set up also with the instuctions provided! I would highly recommend this one!!With my Amazon Prime membership, shipping was free and it came in 2 days!

Does it matter where the pedometer is placed or attached?
The HJ-150 and 151 Pedometer must be positioned correctly.Attach the unit to your belt or to the top of your waistband. The unit must be horizontal to the ground in order for the unit to function correctly. The HJ-112 and HJ-720ITC Pocket Pedometer can also be placed in your pocket or purse.
What's the accuracy rate of Omron pedometers?

I LOVE this pedometer!Had two cheaper ones before I purchased this one and threw them both out.This pedometer is sturdy and accurate.It keeps track of the last seven days of activity, calories, moderate steps. It even knows the date and time, and resets itself automatically every day. It has yet to fall off like the cheaper brands.For the money, I'd highly recommend this one.

Omron HEM-609 Portable Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor with IntelliSense Review

We use these products in a prison system. Larger cuffs do not fit through the bars, nor do many of the inmate's arms. These units are very handy to obtain relaible vital signs (I spent alot of time comparing the reading to routine BP cuffs. They were very compatible in the range as long as you followed instructions)It also beats holding out someone's arm and have an inmate try to get it close to your breast as you try to help him hold a stable position. That doesn't happen with these cuffs.I expect to see more of these in the future..they are less painfull and much easier to haul around with you. Try one and see what you thnk.

Oregon Scientific Digital Pedometer with Panic Alarm Review

Pedometer gets two stars because of unique color and excellent display screen. Otherwise, multiple problems. First, the instructions are printed in such small type had to have son set it up.The buttons used to set personal information are unreadable because function is imbedded into the orange button rather than being a contrasting color. But the biggie is high inaccuracy when you change clothes. With now cooler weather, tucked T-shirt into slacks rather than leaving loose over slacks. Result was a 1,000+ less steps difference on same route, at same cadence speed, for same amount of time! Pick another pedometer.

Polar WearLink Coded Transmitter Review

The big advantage of a Polar transmitter is that, with or without the wrist receiver, it communicates with a lot of exercise equipment that is fitted with Polar telemetry - when you wear the strap, you don't need to hold the sensor grips for a heart rate reading. I got my transmitter to take the place of my S210 monitor and strap which are off on warranty repair (another story). I took it down to the local Gold's Gym this morning, and it seemed to work just fine on the Life Cycle. I am perfectly satisfied with it, but I caution others: The WearLink 31 apparently comes in two sizes: "XS - S" and "M-XXL". My lower chest, where the strap fits, measures 36" - I'm not exactly a big man - and yet I had to extend the strap of my "M-XXL" a full 80%. A truly "extra large" man would be out of luck. Be careful!

5-Function Pedometer with calorie counter Review

Had to install the new battery that comes with the pedometer per the description. (Need a little screwdriver, but it there is a separate compartment for the battery to go into, so no messing with the electronics). Removed the old battery, and it fired right up. Pedometer counts steps, distance (does not allow stride input) and calories burned (no weight Input). Overall accuracy is nothing to compare to that ofa PE318 or HJ112 Pedometer, but if you are looking for an inexpensive activity monitor this is a decent product for the price.

High Gear Pe318 Pedometer (Steps, Distance and Calories) High Accuracy Pedometers Review

For a $5 pedometer is a great deal. It's easy to setup and the sensitivity adjustment works well. It takes a couple of try-and-error to get the right sensitivity, otherwise will not record your steps or record every movement, but in the end is accurate enough (I would say 2-3% error on step count).

Omron HJ-303 GoSmart Tri-Axis Pocket Pedometer Review

I have both the omron 720it (computer downloadable) and hj 112...both are extremely accurate and easy to use...this revision of the pedometer concept is terrific...small but large numbers...easy to set and use...it really does work in any position...the display blanks out to save power so it is inconvenient to constantly be looking at it...still not much of a problem...i checked it against my other omrons and it's within 0.7%...it keeps better track of aerobic activity than the others (they only record after 10 min of activity...the hj 303 after 4 seconds)...overall, the size (small) and accuracy and ease of use make this pedometer an outstanding device for walking or running.
