After downloading the file to the Suunto "Training Manager" software, I notice that the extremely high HR is not recorded (although it did show up in today's report, but not in the HR-graph); but, the extremely low HR is recorded and may have a duration of 1 - 7 minutes.I've read on forums that others have experienced similar behavior, which continues even after Suunto replaced the chest band and/or the HR transmitter.
If I were buying a high-end HRM today, I would, probably, look at the Polar RS800CX--that's what I plan to purchase for my daughter--it even counts # of steps/minute, which the Suunto t6c does not do.
