I work in a world renowned hospital. I purchased this pulse oximiter to carry when I do rounds in step down units. This unit would be much less troublesome than hooking patients up to hospital monitoring equipment. This first day I got delivery, I took it to work with me. I was deeply disappointed in the accuracy of the unit. The Nonin pulse oximiter registered a SpO2 of 82, so I hooked the patient up to the hospital monitor, it read 97. I tried it on a total of fifteen patients with the same sad results. If I had not already written my name on it with magic marker, I would be returning it for a refund.I was contacted by a representative from the Nonin Corporation. We reviewed the problems that I was having with this pulse oximiter and I was asked to return the GO2 to Nonin. The Nonin Corporation fixed the problem I was having and now I am an extremely happy customer. It's nice to work with a company that is truly professional.
