I had this unit for three day before I broke it.Had it in the cargo pocket of my cargo pants for an hour.Didn't lay down on it or stress it or anything.Took it out and the LCD was cracked.The clear plastic protective cover over the display is just way to thin and pliant.I've carried cell phones and other devices in various pockets for years and never had a device break like this.A shame because a stronger plastic cover would probably cost almost nothing relative to the rest of the device.Other than that, I liked the device.Easy to use and clear display.It lacks a continuous monitoring mode.You can only do 30 seconds at time, which is a pain when you are trying to catch occasional missed heart beats.If you want the optional leads and software, go directly to EastShore Medical's website where you can order everything together as a package.
