No need to wear a harness, this heart rate monitor looks like a really nice, large face watch. The band is a smooth silicon and very comfortable. The dial is easy to read for people like me who have a hard time with small print. I don't even need my glasses. Second hand is red for easy distinction from rest of the watch. The pulse rate lights up red in big numerals. You have to hold two buttons for about five seconds first.
